Control Is Built Into the Project
Every Hill project runs on the same controls: an approved method statement before work starts, approved materials before they reach site, inspections at defined hold points, and a documented handover at the end. Our site engineers and foremen are employed directly and stay on the project throughout, so the people who planned the work are the people supervising it.
For clients and consultants that means you can see what was approved, what was inspected, and what progress was made each week.
From Mobilisation to Handover
Scope & Baseline
Scope and BOQ review, baseline programme, site logistics and resource plan agreed before mobilisation.
Technical Submittals
Method statements, material submittals, samples and mockups, risk assessments and inspection and test plans (ITPs) submitted for approval.
Procurement & Mobilisation
Approved materials ordered and tracked, labour planned, access equipment arranged and the site set up.
Controlled Execution
Work supervised by our site engineers, production tracked daily, inspections raised at QA/QC hold points, HSE monitored throughout.
Progress Control
Weekly progress reports, programme versus actual, quantities tracked and a look-ahead for the coming weeks.
Handover
Testing, snag closure, as-built records, warranties and O&M documentation handed over as a package.

Engineer-Led Supervision
Directly employed site engineers and foremen stay on the project from mobilisation to handover.
Approved Method Statements
Work starts once the method statement for that activity has been approved.
Material Submittal Control
Materials are submitted for approval first, then checked against the approval when they arrive on site.
Inspection & Test Plans
Inspections are raised at defined hold points and recorded before the next stage proceeds.
Samples & Mockups
Where the specification calls for them, samples and mockups are agreed before full application.
Daily Production Monitoring
Output is tracked each day against the plan, so slippage shows up early.
Programme Tracking
Weekly reports show planned versus actual progress and the look-ahead.
Snag Closure & Handover
Snags are tracked to closure; handover includes test records, warranties and as-builts.
